Its been a over a year since I started contemplating to Blog, today seems to be the ideal day (Serving Notice Period in a Software company ;) )to start the activity.

Well here I am sitting at my workstation having nothing to do on a monday morning ,Is it the US economy crisis or that I am serving my Notice period?only time can answer.

Let me start my journey with CSS , It was roughly 26 months back when I was wandering in the corridors of SVCE when my friends where busy getting their SOP 's signed for Overseas education when a thought rised.... What next? Cant be fooling around for long can I? Millions of questions kept running over and over in my Mind took an impulsive decision bunked my arrear exam and left to Slash Support for an interview after discussing with a few partners in crime... The interview was a cake walk with the final Telephonic round slated for the evening , Left Home for my routine Snooker War on a Sultry Afternoon when the Phone rang and I pulled over to take up the PhoneInterview (The extempo topic given to me was about Population In India and I spoke good three minutes about Family planninga nd its importance when the HR interupted to say that I am selected) the joining date was exactly the day after my Final exam... The next 20 months was definitely great and a new learning in the corporate world every minute.... Was given my first promotion in 12 months as Escalation Leader handling escalated Technical calls and also additonal responsibility of training new folks who joined the project which sharpened my Leadership skills by managing a 40 +team.Bagging the employee of the Quarters/Year/ Best Performance of the Year awards in NETGEAR porject was an icing on the cake, Playing Cricket and managing the cricket team was additonal fun apart from the fun @work that we followed with proper work ethics in Slash and also Playing for the corporate team gave me and oppurtunity to make loads of Friends in the other verticals of the business.

April '08 - Was given a chance to join the Presales team of CSS corp as an internal transfer where my role was to support the Sales Team across the world, answering to RFI/RFP/RFQ
everyday was a learning slightly diffrent from the tech support cap that I was wearing untill then, The role was evrything an aspiring Professional can ask for.the going was smooth.....

September 08'-yes I wanted more challenge and was contemplating and moon lighting on various aspects the entire quarter , Was so much in Love with CSS that I held myself back and decided to stick for 25+months gave a deep thought spoke to few well wishers on the journey ahead and decided that I should nt be unfair to myself and came back to work the next day spoke to my boss and put the papers down, will hit the accelerator soon and will be working for myslef .

Life at CSS was great , will be a challenge to face 31st Oct '08 when i 'll walk out of CSS and start a new journey .... Looking forward to greater challenges ! Will surley be a cake walk with all your wishes :)
